How Jiga works

A quick tour of how Jiga takes you from uploading a part to getting it delivered, and what makes it different.

Jiga is where you get custom parts made: you upload your part files, Jiga matches you with vetted manufacturers, and you get human-reviewed quotes back, usually within 24 hours. From there you place an order, message the supplier directly, and track it through production to delivery, all in one place.

The part that matters most if this is new to you: you work with the actual manufacturer making your parts, and you can message them directly. A person at Jiga reviews every quote before it reaches you, and your files stay protected the whole way.

The whole journey, step by step

  1. Request a quote (RFQ). Upload your parts files, set your requirements (quantity, material, certifications, target delivery), and send.
  1. Get your quotes. Within about 24 hours you get up to three quotes from vetted manufacturers, each reviewed by a person at Jiga before it reaches you.
  1. Compare and choose. Weigh price, lead time, and any manufacturing feedback side by side, and ask the supplier questions directly before you decide.
  1. Place your order. Pick the quote that fits and place the order from it.
  1. Pay. You pay the quoted price. Invoicing and payment terms depend on your account.
  1. Track production. Follow your order status and message the supplier if anything needs clarifying. Answering their questions quickly keeps your lead time on track.
  1. Delivery. Choose how your parts ship. With Standard (DAP) you handle import duties; with All inclusive (DDP) duties are handled for you. You can also ship on your own carrier.
  1. Backed by Jiga. Every order is quality-checked, and you can request quality documents and reports with it. And if anything is not right when your parts arrive, Jiga stands behind them and makes it right.

FAQ

Does it cost anything to get a quote?

No. Requesting a quote is free. You pay only when you place an order, and you pay the quoted price.

How long do quotes take?

Up to three quotes, usually within 24 hours, each reviewed by a person at Jiga.

Who are the suppliers?

Vetted manufacturers matched to your part and requirements. You work with them directly.

Can I choose where my parts are made?

Yes. You set a supplier location when you request a quote, for example USA, Asia, or a specific country. If your account is set up for ITAR, suppliers are US-only.

Is my IP protected?

Yes. Your files are shared only under controlled access and nondisclosure terms.

Is Jiga compliant with my standards?

Yes. When you request a quote you can require the certifications you need, such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100D, and Jiga matches you with manufacturers that hold them. You can also request quality documentation such as CoC, FAI, or CMM with your order. For export-controlled work.

Jiga is ITAR-registered and supports ITAR and EAR parts; your account needs to be set up for this first, with access limited to verified US persons. Email ops@jiga.io for more information.

Do I have to deal with customs?

Only if you choose Standard (DAP) shipping, where you handle import duties. With All inclusive (DDP), duties are handled for you.

How do I contact Jiga?

To reach the team, email ops@jiga.io for support and operations (orders, delivery, payments, and your account), or sales@jiga.io for sales (plans, pricing, and new business).
