What are revisions and how to use them

What are revisions?

It is quite common for engineering teams to have changes in their needs and designs. It also happens that after you have submitted an RFQ or an order, these changes arise.

This is where revisions come in.

Revisions allow you to submit, view, and track changes to your requests. It can be a model update or quantity change, or even a small thing like notes to the supplier. Every tiny change is tracked by Jiga and can be reviewed later on.

How to submit a new revision?

To submit a new revision, simply click on "Revise RFQ".

You'll be redirected to a new screen where you'll be able to change your requirements.

Once you're done setting up your changes, click on "Review Changes" (on the top-right corner of the screen).

If you wish to exit the screen without saving the revision changes, click on "Cancel".

How to view my revision changes?

If you want to view the changes made to your revision, click on the "three-dots" button located on the top-right corner of the RFQ or order page. Then, select "View revisions history" from the dropdown menu.

How to roll back to a previous revision?

Simply click on the "Rollback to this version" button next to the revision you'd like to revert to.
